RESPONSIBILITIES/ KEY ACTIVITIES

• Develop new Foodservice customers and grow existing accounts across assigned channels.
• Understand customer operations and applications and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Lead or support product trials, demonstrations, applications and technical troubleshooting.
• Work directly with chefs, R&D, procurement and operations to progress opportunities from need identification through trial to commercial conversion.
• Identify new product and application opportunities across dairy, cheese, cream, butter and related Foodservice ingredients.
• Build a qualified pipeline with customer, product/SKU, application, potential volume, next action and expected timing.
• Drive prospecting, samples, proposals, pricing, follow-up and commercial negotiations within approved guidelines.
• Work closely with distributors while retaining ownership of customer development and opportunity conversion.
• Protect current business while actively pursuing new customers, applications and incremental volume.
• Capture competitor, customer and application insights and translate them into actionable sales ************* insights and translate them into actionable sales opportunities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Education

Minimum Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Business or a related field. Relevant technical Foodservice experience may be considered in place of a specific qualification.

Experience (Must Have)

• 3–5 years of relevant Foodservice sales, technical sales, application or business development experience.
• Demonstrated combination of commercial selling ability and hands-on technical/application knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with food applications, customer trials, demonstrations or troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop accounts and move opportunities from customer need to trial and commercial conversion.
• Confident in engaging chefs, R&D, procurement and operations, not only purchasing contacts.

PREFERRED:

• Experience in dairy, cheese, cream, butter, bakery, culinary, food ingredients or related Foodservice categories.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian Foodservice market and experience working with distributors.
