Job Description

Responsibilities

The Role

Co-Curriculum – Sport Department is looking to appoint Learn to Swim External Instructors who will contribute to a world-class school swim program that supports both the development and performance of Tanglin swimmers through a holistic approach. The Learn to Swim External Instructors will provide safe and effective delivery of lessons to students, developing swimming techniques and skills while increasing students’ knowledge and improving their safety in and around an aquatic environment.  

This is an ad-hoc external instructor role and will be paid based on hourly basis, at $70/hour. Working hours will be arranged according to the school’s timetable and operational needs. If you are a foreigner, you must have the eligibility to work in Singapore.

The role reports to the Head Swim Coach.

Requirements:

  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Possess First Aid Certified
  • Possess CPR/AED certification
  • Experience of coaching in a school or youth setting is highly desirable
