In this role, you will work closely with game developers, product managers, marketing specialists, analytics teams, and external publishing partners to bring mobile games to market and support their long-term growth. You will help coordinate publishing strategies, regional market expansion, user acquisition, localisation, release schedules, and player engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of the mobile gaming industry with practical project management, commercial analysis, and cross-functional leadership skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of mobile game products across different markets and distribution platforms.

Key Responsibilities1. Game Publishing Strategy

  • Develop and execute publishing plans for new and existing mobile game titles.
  • Evaluate market opportunities, competitor activity, player preferences, and emerging trends in the mobile gaming industry.
  • Assess potential game titles based on target audience, commercial viability, product positioning, and market suitability.
  • Develop launch roadmaps, publishing milestones, and market entry plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Work with management to identify opportunities for portfolio growth, regional expansion, and publishing partnerships.

2. Game Launch and Release Management

  • Coordinate end-to-end publishing activities, including release planning, launch readiness, store listing preparation, and promotional scheduling.
  • Work with development and quality assurance teams to monitor release milestones, testing progress, and launch requirements.
  • Coordinate app store submissions, version updates, localisation requirements, and release communications.
  • Maintain publishing schedules and ensure that key deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Identify potential launch risks and coordinate appropriate actions with relevant stakeholders.

3. Marketing and User Acquisition

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns for mobile games.
  • Support user acquisition planning across relevant digital advertising channels and distribution platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance, acquisition costs, conversion rates, and other relevant marketing indicators.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and recommend adjustments based on campaign results and player behaviour.
  • Coordinate creative assets, campaign calendars, store optimisation activities, and market-specific promotional materials.

4. Live Operations and Player Engagement

  • Oversee publishing-related live operations, including in-game events, seasonal campaigns, content updates, and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with product and development teams to maintain an appropriate schedule of updates and player engagement initiatives.
  • Review player feedback, community sentiment, support trends, and product performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work with relevant teams to improve player retention, engagement, and the overall game experience.
  • Support the planning and execution of activities designed to maintain player interest throughout the game lifecycle.

5. Performance Analysis and Commercial Management

  • Monitor key performance indicators, including daily active users (DAU), retention, conversion, average revenue per user (ARPU), and lifetime value (LTV), where applicable.
  • Analyse revenue trends, marketing expenditure, publishing costs, and product performance against business targets.
  • Prepare performance reports and recommendations for management review.
  • Support budget planning, resource allocation, and financial tracking for assigned game titles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve monetisation performance, operational efficiency, and the commercial sustainability of published games.

6. Developer and Partner Management

  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with game developers, platform representatives, technology providers, and external publishing partners.
  • Coordinate publishing requirements, technical deliverables, marketing assets, and release schedules with relevant partners.
  • Participate in discussions concerning publishing terms, project scope, service expectations, and commercial opportunities.
  • Track partner deliverables and resolve operational issues that may affect publishing timelines or product quality.
  • Support the evaluation of potential publishing partnerships and new game opportunities.

7. Localisation and Regional Market Development

  • Coordinate localisation of game content, store descriptions, promotional materials, and player communications for target markets.
  • Work with regional teams and external vendors to ensure content is appropriate for local audiences.
  • Research market-specific player preferences, competitive conditions, and distribution requirements.
  • Adapt publishing and marketing plans based on regional performance and market feedback.
  • Support expansion into new territories by assessing operational requirements, localisation needs, and potential commercial opportunities.

8. Cross-Functional Project Management

  • Coordinate publishing activities across product, development, QA, marketing, analytics, customer support, and community management teams.
  • Establish project timelines, responsibilities, milestones, and reporting processes.
  • Facilitate project reviews and maintain visibility over deliverables, dependencies, and outstanding issues.
  • Identify workflow improvements that can enhance publishing efficiency and coordination.
  • Provide regular progress updates and escalate significant risks to the appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, Game Development, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in game publishing, mobile gaming, product operations, digital marketing, or game project management.
  • Good understanding of the mobile game lifecycle, including development coordination, launch planning, distribution, and live operations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing projects against deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret product, marketing, and commercial performance data.
  • Familiarity with mobile game distribution platforms and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications
