About TBH

At TBH, we dream of transforming communities and improving lives, by providing innovative solutions to our clients most complex problems.

We’re one of Australia’s largest privately owned, independent consultancies with an international footprint, and have been specialising in delivering critical infrastructure projects since 1965.

As leaders in our field and trusted advisors, we have provided specialist project management services to the public and private sectors on over 8,000 landmark projects across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

TBH has been growing rapidly in Asia, Australia and The Middle East, but continues to be a connected, collaborative and supportive team.

About the Opportunity

As our Consultant, specialising in Planning & Scheduling, you’ll be based full-time onsite at our client’s location in Singapore, working closely with both the client and TBH teams. You’ll be an integral part of a collaborative team, playing a key role in developing, managing, analysing, and executing detailed project plans and schedules across a range of complex programs. With your demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling, you’ll bring strong communication skills and a background in the delivery of complex construction projects in the data centre, pharmaceutical, heavy industrial, or transport infrastructure industries.

You’ll work closely with TBH colleagues and client-side stakeholders to support the development, monitoring and reporting of project schedules—ensuring alignment with delivery milestones and program objectives. This role will see you contributing to both the technical and operational aspects of planning and scheduling, with exposure to a broad range of responsibilities and opportunities to deepen your expertise.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development, preparation and maintenance of detailed project schedules and programmes, ensuring alignment with project objectives, milestones and delivery requirements.

  • Assisting with the monitoring and analysis of project progress, identifying potential delays, risks and opportunities to support effective project delivery.

  • Reviewing, interpreting and analysing project data from multiple sources to support reporting, forecasting and decision-making processes.

  • Assisting in the preparation of project deliverables, including schedule updates, progress reports, presentations and other technical documentation for client submissions.

  • Applying analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for improvement in project planning and reporting.

  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, with training and guidance provided where required.

  • Using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to organise, analyse and present project information in a clear and accurate manner.

  • Supporting project teams with data analysis, technical research and the preparation of reports to assist with project planning and performance monitoring.

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, consultants and client representatives, to ensure effective coordination and communication of project information.

  • Assisting with the identification and assessment of project risks, constraints and opportunities, and supporting the development of appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Contributing to the development and improvement of planning processes, reporting tools and project controls methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Providing timely and accurate updates to senior team members to support progress reporting and informed decision-making.

  • Demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation of project documentation, reports and deliverables.

  • Actively participating in training, mentorship and professional development opportunities to build technical knowledge in planning, scheduling and project controls.

  • Adapting to different project environments, including working from TBH offices, client sites and temporary overseas assignments where required.

What You’ll Bring

As our successful candidate, you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or another relevant Engineering discipline.

  • A strong academic background with demonstrated analytical, mathematical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information, assess data and communicate findings effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare reports, analyse data and present information clearly.

  • Exposure to engineering analysis, technical modelling, simulation or data analysis tools, such as MATLAB, Aspen Plus, COMSOL or similar software.

  • An understanding of engineering principles, technical processes and the importance of planning, coordination and effective project delivery.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to approach challenges logically, identify solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
