About the MORROW
MORROW is Singapore’s integrated longevity destination: a wellbeing centre at 10 Coleman Street and MORROW Medical, our doctor-led clinic. Together we combine movement, mindful practices and evidence-based coaching in one seamless journey.
Our philosophy is simple: by improving our health and wellbeing, longevity will follow.
Role Overview
The Group Movement Lead owns the quality, consistency and growth of MORROW’s group movement and mindfulness programme: Pilates, yoga, sound therapy and breathwork, delivered in the Yoga Room and the Renewal Zone.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will teach, coach and review 15–20 classes a week while leading the instructor team, shaping the class and workshop calendar, and building a community around fitness, mindfulness and stress management.
You are the bridge between the studio floor and the wider business. You translate MORROW’s positioning, values and member experience standards into how every class is taught, and you bring the voice of the studio into operations planning.
You also close the gap between MORROW Medical and the studio. Insights from MORROW Medical become exercise and movement interventions that are implemented and executed well in class, so members experience one connected journey rather than separate services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching, coaching and class review
Teach, coach or review 15–20 classes per week across Pilates, yoga, sound therapy and breathwork in the Yoga Room and the Renewal Zone.
Observe instructor classes regularly and give structured, actionable feedback.
Act as the senior practitioner and first point of reference for technique, sequencing, safety and modifications.
2. Programme leadership
Lead all Pilates, yoga, sound therapy and workshop programming within the Yoga Room.
Own the class timetable: format mix, levels, time slots and instructor allocation, informed by attendance and member feedback.
Encourage ideation across specialised classes and workshops and see new formats through from concept to launch.
Support inter-department, cross-functional series, partnering with other teams to deliver joined-up member programmes.
3. Quality, consistency and team training
Uphold and raise the standard of class execution so every member receives a consistent MORROW experience, whoever is teaching.
Define and maintain class standards: structure, cueing, music and atmosphere, timekeeping, studio set-up and reset.
Train the team on MORROW’s current positioning, values, operating principles and member experience expectations.
Run onboarding for new instructors and regular team trainings, workshops and calibration sessions.
4. Team management and administration
Recruit, onboard, manage and develop the group movement instructor team.
Build and manage instructor schedules, including cover, leave and substitutions.
Tabulate instructor hours and classes for payroll each cycle and coordinate with HR on payroll, contracts and people matters.
Conduct regular check-ins and performance conversations with instructors.
5. Operations communication
Attend operations team meetings as the voice of the movement and mindfulness programme.
Communicate timetable changes, launches, events and standards so front-of-house and other teams stay up to speed.
Enrol the wider team in upcoming classes, workshops and initiatives so they can confidently speak to members about them.
6. Community management
Build and nurture MORROW’s fitness and mindfulness community.
Lead community events focused on movement, mindfulness and stress management.
Gather member feedback and use it to shape programming and the member experience.
7. Events and workshops
Support the curation and execution of events and workshops, from concept and facilitator selection through to run-of-show.
Build event and workshop budgets and pricing so each one makes financial sense, and review results afterwards against plan.
Coordinate logistics with operations, marketing and external facilitators.
8. Bridging MORROW Medical and movement
Coordinate with MORROW Medical so its findings and recommendations translate into exercise and movement interventions delivered at MORROW.
Close the gap between assessment and action: ensure interventions are implemented, executed and progressed consistently in classes and programmes.
Equip instructors with the science, data and alignment cues needed to deliver these interventions safely and effectively.
Ensure every class connects to the member’s wider journey, so movement reinforces what MORROW Medical and other teams deliver.
9. The MORROW class experience
Embed MORROW’s values and operating principles in every class.
Make the pause, renewal and intention setting a consistent part of each class, whoever is teaching and whatever the format.
Deliver the same linked experience to members, their guests and new leads, so a first class reflects how MORROW delivers every experience.
