Full Time Electrical Project Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 7,000 in DJR Power WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.

Professional certification in Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM) or its equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of proven working experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in Project Cost Computation for TenderandProject Management or similar role.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities within given tight deadline.

Able to simplify technical terms for the benefit of other non-technical stakeholders.

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Knowledgeable on industry standards including, but not limited to API, ISO, MSS, ASTM and DIN.

Proficiency with MS office Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat).

Strong capability of Bahasa Malaysia and English written and spoken language.

Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation for work on short notice (site survey for tender information).

Good in writing.

Responsible for the preparation and submission of design calculations, shop drawings, as build drawings, operation and manual (O&M), catalogues as per project specifications, and tender documents for the design projects according to requirements for submission under supervision of engineers/ managers. (Costing Budget, BOQ, Material Spec, Method Statement, Variation Order, Work Program, Project Planning, etc.)

Assist in liaison and coordination with Local Authority Departments to obtain approval on design projects. (ST, Telekom, TIME, MBPP, JKR & TNB, etc)

Assist Project Manager in essential building tasks, new machine installation, re-layout such as estimating, contracts or site planning.

Monitoring build progress, preparing sites before construction work begins & supervising contractor teams.

Communicate with clients on requirements and specification for request for proposals (RFP)

Conduct status review meetings among project team members, subcontractors and clients.

Ensure technical proposals comply with local rules and regulations.
