About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Governance Manager to lead cybersecurity governance, assurance, risk and security oversight activities.

This role will be responsible for driving security governance processes, monitoring the overall security posture, coordinating risk and remediation activities, and supporting continuous improvement of the cybersecurity governance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Cybersecurity Governance function.
• Oversee security governance processes and security-posture reporting.
• Establish and improve cybersecurity governance frameworks, security standards and control-assurance programmes.
• Coordinate security audits, risk reporting and remediation activities.
• Develop and manage security metrics and executive-level security reporting.
• Work closely with security operations, infrastructure, application and third-party teams.
• Coordinate security risks, findings and remediation activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity governance and assurance.
• Support the use of AI-enabled governance and automation technologies for compliance monitoring, reporting and remediation tracking.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, security assurance, risk management, compliance or security operations.
• Minimum 3 years in a lead/supervisory role covering cybersecurity governance, security assurance or security risk management.
• Relevant certification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance frameworks and security controls.
• Experience with security audits, risk reporting, security metrics and executive-level reporting.
• Experience coordinating remediation across technical teams and third-party vendors.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled governance and cybersecurity automation technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
