FINANCE MANAGER / BUSINESS CONTROL

Location: Bangi

A FMCG leading organisation in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor is seeking a Finance Manager to champion governance and business control across its operations.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of monthly financial results consolidation, scorecard preparation, and reporting package creation to ensure comprehensive support for business performance reviews by the General Manager and leadership team.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial reporting.
• Lead forecasting activities as well as monitoring and variance analysis of all indirect, non-production operating costs a business incurs in partnership with functional owners to promote disciplined cost management.
• Coordinate closely with Commercial Finance and Supply Chain Finance teams to consolidate variance commentaries ensuring consistency, alignment, and unified financial reporting outputs.
• Manage financial master data governance including product, customer, vendor, cost centre, chart of accounts, and reporting hierarchy integrity to enable precise business decision-making.
• Own finance policies along with governance frameworks ensuring compliance with company standards, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls while ensuring audit readiness, tax compliance, and fulfilment of statutory reporting obligations according to regulatory standards.
• Oversee cash management activities including banking relationships, balance sheet integrity, cash flow visibility, and working capital governance to drive accountability throughout the organisation.
• Drive process improvements as well as automation and standardisation initiatives.
• Represent Finance in Leadership Team meetings, Finance Conferences, Audit Reviews, and Governance forums by providing updates on financial reporting, compliance insights, and recommendations for business performance.
  
  

What You Bring

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance roles with significant exposure to controllership functions or accounting responsibilities within complex operating environments such as FMCG or Food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards coupled with deep understanding of internal controls frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Willing to work fully onsite at Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor
• Ability to connect financial information directly to broader business implications facilitating informed decision-making among stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven track record managing audit readiness processes as well as tax compliance duties within regulated industries.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work purposes along with flexibility regarding working hours when required.
