PRODUCTION ENGINEER

JOB & RESPOSIBILITES

1. Responsible for Maintenance Plan, Machinery Maintenance Audit, and Monthly Report

• Update and maintain the machinery maintenance plan on a regular basis
• Ensure all scheduled preventive maintenance activities are properly recorded and tracked
• Conduct or coordinate machinery maintenance audits to ensure compliance with maintenance standards
• Verify maintenance records and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Monitor equipment condition and highlight any critical issues or risks
• Follow up on pending maintenance activities and ensure timely completion
• Compile and prepare monthly maintenance reports, including performance, issues, and improvements
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and relevant departments for data collection and updates
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and reference purposes

2. Plan Production Worker Skills Training and Evaluation

• Identify training needs for production workers based on job requirements and performance gaps
• Develop and schedule training programs (technical skills, SOP, safety, quality)
• Coordinate with relevant departments/trainers to conduct training sessions
• Ensure all workers attend required training and maintain attendance records
• Evaluate workers’ skills and competency after training (test, observation, assessment)
• Maintain training records and competency matrices for all production staff
• Monitor effectiveness of training and recommend improvements
• Support continuous skill development and multi-skilling initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company standards and audit requirements

3. Responsible in Solving Production Problems and Driving Improvement

• Support the production team in identifying and resolving daily operational issues
• Analyze production problems (e.g., downtime, defects, low output) and identify root causes
• Coordinate with relevant departments (Production, Maintenance, Quality) to implement solutions
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure issues are resolved
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Reduce rework, rejection, and production delays through continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, process optimization)
• Perform other duties as and when required

Requirements:

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
• Able communicate and written in English, Bahasa .
• Related working experience and technical knowledge would be a significant plus.
• People oriented and good interpersonal skills.
• Willing work at Kajang.
• Permanent employment, Full time.
• 5 working days (Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm)
