We are seeking a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to support the daily operations of our audiological clinic. The role involves assisting patients and customers, supporting the audiologist with clinic activities, handling hearing-related products and accessories, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring a welcoming experience for all patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist the audiologist with non-clinical tasks before, during, and after patient appointments.
- Prepare the consultation and testing areas before patient appointments.
- Assist the audiologist with equipment, materials, and basic clinic preparations as required.
- Handle hearing aids, batteries, accessories, and other hearing-care products appropriately.
- Provide basic product information and refer clinical or technical questions to the audiologist.
- Manage retail sales, payments, receipts, and POS transactions accurately.
- Arrange and maintain hearing aids, accessories, and other products in an organized and presentable manner.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock-taking.
- Receive, check, label, and organize incoming products and clinic supplies.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and basic administrative tasks.
- Follow up with customers regarding product collection, repairs, servicing, or appointments.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records while strictly respecting patient confidentiality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic, including the reception area, consultation rooms, testing areas, retail displays, and workspaces.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure the clinic is prepared for daily operations.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and escalate clinical concerns to the audiologist or clinic manager.
- Assist with promotional activities, product displays, and clinic events when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the audiologist or clinic manager.
