Full Time Accountant Jobs, Salary up to SGD 6,000 in CANOPIUS ASIA PTE. LTD. Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

This role will be performing Syndicate Finance Premium Trust Fund review and reconciliations, preparing quarterly GST reporting and quarterly Labuan regulatory reporting, as well as reviewing the Service Company’s expenses and financial statements.

Responsibilities will include:

• Technical accounting for the Syndicate's premium and claims
• Working with the Credit Control team to validate booked premium and claims
• Preparing internal technical reports and bordereaux accurately and on time
• Preparing ledger entries for premium and claims
• Reviewing and reconciling premium trust funds
• Preparing and reviewing periodic tax and regulatory reporting
• Reviewing and approving service entity expenses
• Reviewing financial statements and managing the audit process, including coordinating with external auditors and outsourced service providers
• Supporting internal and external reporting, including management accounts
• Supporting management on ad hoc projects and other duties as required

The candidate in this role will:

• ·Knowledge or experience in various Direct and Facultative Insurance classes of business would be advantageous.
• Knowledge in Lloyd’s business and operations would be advantageous.
• Experience in accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations and cash accounting.
• Computer literate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Subscribe policy administration system advantageous.
