Responsibilities
About This Role
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to support volunteer recruitment, training, deployment and engagement activities within our team.
This is a contract position, with the possibility of contract renewal or emplacement to a permanent position, subject to organisational needs, performance and suitability.
Key Responsibilities
Support volunteer management including recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement and retention initiatives
Support befriending initiatives for inmates, ex-offenders and families
Assist in volunteer deployment and appreciation activities
Provide administrative support including volunteer registration, attendance tracking, record-keeping, deployment schedules, security clearance documentation, statistics, programme data and responding to volunteer enquiries.
Requirements
Minimum GCE O-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification. Diploma or Degree qualifications are not required for this role.
Experience in volunteer coordination, community work or events is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems.
Good organizational, coordination, interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
Passionate about community work and social impact.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a diverse team environment.
