Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing business development plans, conducting market and competitor research, preparing proposals and pitches, and collaborating with lawyers to package services effectively.

The role also involves managing marketing and networking activities, maintaining a pipeline of prospects, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular reports and insights to firm leadership. The Business Development Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that business development initiatives align with the firm’s strategic objectives and professional standards.

• Strong business development and client relationship management skills, with experience growing professional services or legal practice revenue.
• Proficiency in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning to identify and prioritize target segments.
• Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal services clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in marketing and branding for professional services, including basic knowledge of digital marketing and networking best practices.
• Effective organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field; prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is an advantage.
• Comfort working on-site in Singapore and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
