Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Workday Integration Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday integrations.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT and XPath. The candidate will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable Workday integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations.
• Develop and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB and Core Connectors.
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and external applications.
• Work with Workday Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Perform data transformation using XML, XSLT and XPath.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor integrations and provide production support.
• Analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work with Workday HCM data and business processes.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, HR teams, business users, vendors, and other technical teams.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, integration documentation, and support documentation.
• Support enhancements, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing integrations.
• Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, and enterprise technology standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Workday Integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio.
• Strong experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
• Experience with Workday Core Connectors.
• Strong understanding of Workday Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, and XPath.
• Experience developing and supporting inbound and outbound integrations.
• Good understanding of Workday HCM and related business processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Workday Integration certification.
• Experience with Workday Report Writer / Advanced Reports.
• Experience with RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service).
• Knowledge of JSON.
• Experience integrating Workday with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Payroll, Identity Management, or other third-party systems.
• Experience with middleware or enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) is an advantage.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Workday Integration development and be comfortable working across the complete integration lifecycle, from requirement analysis and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
