 Who You Are

• Proactive Operator: You don’t wait around to be handed a checklist. If prep is low, workflows are clunky, or stock is running thin, you’ve already spotted it and handled it before anyone asks.
• Coffee Geek, Zero Pretense: You understand extraction science, brew ratios, and sensory profiles—but you care more about deliciousness, customer enjoyment, and service speed than dogma. Roasting experience is a huge plus, but an insatiable appetite to learn the roaster is mandatory.
• Natural Leadership & Accountability: You hold yourself and your teammates to high standards with clear, calm communication and positive energy.
• Grounded Practicality: You know a great cafe is built on both great coffee and spotless counters, tight cost control, and reliable gear maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: A Diploma.
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
• Charismatic, high energy, clear communicator, team player.
• Willingness to work weekends.

At Swift Coffee, we’re reimagining how specialty coffee is served in Subang Jaya. By combining an innovative coffee-on-tap system with our own in-house roasting, we strip away repetitive mechanical bottlenecks so we can focus on what actually matters: dialed-in extraction, insane speed and consistency, genuine human hospitality, and relentless menu experimentation.

We need an enterprising coffee craftsperson and floor leader—someone who respects the bean, questions old cafe rules, loves fine-tuning workflows, and wants to build something fresh alongside the founders.

What You’ll Actually Drive

• Run the Floor Like Clockwork: Take ownership of daily store operations—opening/closing excellence, lean inventory control, hygiene standards, and pacing shifts so rush hours run like a choreographed rhythm, never a panic drill.
• Redefine Fast Specialty Coffee: Master and optimize our tap delivery systems and brew workflows. Help us figure out how to serve world-class cup profiles at a fraction of the traditional ticket time.
• Roast & Experiment: Step behind the scenes into our roasting operations. You’ll cup, evaluate green beans, tweak roast curves to take profiles to new heights, and develop seasonal drink drops.
• Lead by Lifting Others: You don’t babysit; you set the standard. Train, mentor, and upskill junior crew members so every shift runs with autonomous confidence, even when you aren't on the floor.
• Host, Don’t Just Serve: Build real rapport with the SS17 neighborhood. High-energy, warm, and attentive without pretense.
