Full Time Chargeman (Penjaga Jentera Elektrik) Jobs, in Tung Hup Mining (Perak) Perak - Maukerja

List of Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate & maintain switchboards, MCC, motors, gensets

• Planned / preventive maintenance across 3 sites

• Breakdown response, root cause and repair records

• Isolation, lock-out-tag and permit-to-work

• Keep electrical log book & ST compliance records

• Inspect & test installations, earthing, protection

• Supervise wiremen and electrical contractors

• Support new plant installation, energy monitoring

Education

SKM / certicate in electrical. Certificate of Compentency from Suruhanjaya Tenaga as Chargemen (Penjaga Jentera Elektrik), grade to suit the sites’ supply voltage

Job Experience

Minimum 3 years maintaining industrial electrical installations as Chargemen – mining, quarry, crushing or process plant preferred.

Other requirements

Familiar with Electric Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994. Able to trouble shoot motors, starters, VFDs and gensets. Willing to move between the 3 sites and attend after hours call-outs. Based in Ipoh / Kinta Valley, own transport.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kampar: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Preferred)

Experience:

• chargemen: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• suruhanjaya tenaga certificate (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required)
