Lead and manage Transportation, Freight & Fleet Operations functions across Malaysia.

Establish transportation strategies and operational plans aligned with business objectives.

Approve fleet deployment, transportation resource allocation and freight management decisions.

Review transportation performance, operational risks and customer service outcomes.

Lead transport network optimization and cost reduction initiatives.

Approve corrective and preventive actions relating to service failures, transportation incidents and operational inefficiencies.

Manage transport operating budgets, fleet expenditure and transportation productivity.

Lead strategic reviews of insourcing, outsourcing and transportation network opportunities.

Drive transportation governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Transportation Operations Management

Lead nationwide transportation operations to ensure safe, efficient and timely delivery execution.

Ensure achievement of delivery service levels and customer expectations.

Monitor transport performance, truck turnaround time and departure adherence.

Drive transport productivity and operational efficiency improvements.

Manage daily transportation priorities and escalation resolution.

Ensure effective communication between warehouse, transport and customer service teams.

Transport Planning & Control Tower Management

Lead transport planning and routing activities to optimize network efficiency.

Oversee transport scheduling, capacity planning and resource allocation.

Monitor vehicle utilization, route adherence and delivery productivity.

Ensure efficient deployment of transport assets and manpower.

Drive planning accuracy through forecasting and volume analysis.

Enhance Control Tower visibility and real-time transportation management.

Fleet Management & Asset Optimization

Oversee company-owned and leased fleet operations.

Develop fleet replacement, maintenance and lifecycle management strategies.

Monitor vehicle uptime, preventive maintenance and asset reliability.

Drive improvements in fuel efficiency and vehicle utilization.

Optimize trailer, prime mover and vehicle asset deployment.

Support CAPEX planning for fleet replacement and operational equipment.

Freight Management & Carrier Governance

Lead freight procurement, transportation RFQs and carrier sourcing activities.

Establish strategic partnerships with transport service providers.

Negotiate transportation rates, contracts and service agreements.

Monitor transporter performance and compliance standards.

Conduct cost benchmarking and freight network reviews.

Identify opportunities for transportation cost optimization.

Customer Service & Delivery Excellence

Ensure achievement of DIFOT, On-Time Delivery and customer service KPIs.

Investigate customer complaints and transportation service failures.

Develop corrective action plans for recurring delivery issues.

Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Support strategic customer initiatives and service improvement programs.

Drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence outcomes.

Safety, Security & Compliance Governance

Provide governance oversight for Transport Safety, Security & Compliance activities.

Ensure compliance with transport regulations, customer requirements and company policies.

Support compliance with DQMP, HALAL, FSSC22000, Road Transport and safety requirements.

Review transportation incidents and accident investigations.

Lead transportation risk mitigation initiatives.

Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Financial Management & Cost Control

Manage transportation operating budgets and expenditure.

Monitor transportation costs, fleet costs and freight spend.

Conduct transportation cost analysis and cost-to-serve reviews.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Review transportation KPIs, budget versus actual performance and productivity trends.

Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

Leadership & Talent Development

Lead, coach and develop transportation, planning, fleet and freight management teams.

Establish performance expectations, KPIs and development plans.

Drive employee engagement, accountability and operational discipline.

Identify succession planning and talent development opportunities.

Foster a culture of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement.

Support organizational capability development and future growth requirements.

Executive Reporting & Business Support

Prepare transportation performance reports and executive dashboards.

Present transportation risks, opportunities and recommendations to Management.

Monitor strategic initiatives and recovery plans.

Track operational performance against business objectives.

Support Management reviews, customer reviews and governance forums.

Protect company information through strict confidentiality and governance practices.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
