We are hiring a Test Manager (End User Computing / Digital Workplace) for a renowned Global Client on a half-yearly renewable contract role. In the role, you will own the end-to-end test strategy, environment management and quality assurance for a large-scale Customer EUX Transformation programme.

Overview:

This role is for a self-motivated, hands-on Test Manager who is strategic but also a doer. You will define what “good” looks like at each design and deployment phase, write test scripts and carry out testing yourself, and act as our counterpart to the Customer’s test and quality function. The candidate must be agile and flexible with changing priorities based on the programme’s needs.

What you’ll do:

• Define the overall programme test strategy covering the EUC Platform, Enterprise Voice, Enterprise Meetings, Meeting Room Modernisation and Migration Orchestration tooling
• Specify test environment requirements (Dev, Integration, UAT and Pre-Production) and the integration points with Customer test environments
• Develop detailed test plans for each workstream, aligned to the HLD / LLD, covering smoke, integration, performance, security, UAT and regression phases
• Author and govern Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) across the Platform and Collaboration workstreams
• Work alongside workstream Senior Engineers to oversee test execution and quality, and manage defect triage and resolution cadence
• Write test scripts and perform hands-on manual and automation testing, including CI/CD pipeline testing and testing of the Azure cloud environment
• Coordinate with the Customer test / IT testing function to align with Customer PTX, testing and compliance processes per Global Finance industry standards
• Govern Pilot certification and Production wave certification
• Deliver test reports at programme governance level: gate readiness, defect trends, exit criteria and residual-risk dashboards
• Partner with the Communications Lead on User Acceptance readiness and the user certification gates within the migration user journey

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years as a Test Manager / QA Lead on enterprise IT transformation programmes, with demonstrable successful delivery on a comparable End User / Digital Workplace transformation in a regulated industry
• Cloud testing experience, with mandatory Azure testing experience, plus Entra ID and Microsoft Teams collaboration experience
• Hands-on End User Computing project experience (more important than financial services experience)
• A mix of manual and automation testing skills, with experience in CI/CD pipeline testing
• Strong working knowledge of test strategy and planning across multi-workstream programmes (smoke, integration, performance, security, UAT, regression), test environment design, defect lifecycle management and gate-based quality governance
• Hands-on familiarity with test management tooling such as Jira / Xray, Azure DevOps, qTest, ALM or Zephyr
• ATP authoring experience for End User solutions
• Delivery experience in a regulated industry (financial services, government, pharmaceuticals, energy or similar), including familiarity with change control, audit and compliance constraints
• Experience working in a large, globally distributed organisation and team, comfortable across multiple time zones and cultural contexts, and within a hybrid client/partner team with clear ownership boundaries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage senior stakeholders and translate technical detail for non-technical audiences

• Performance and scale testing for VDI (Omnissa Horizon) and Teams Phone / Meetings
• Experience delivering complex, global End User transformation in a regulated industry
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or TMMi certification
