CPU / BGA Rework Technician

Role Overview

Support CPU and BGA (ball grid array) rework on engineering and validation boards, including device removal, replacement and thermal profiling.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CPU/BGA removal, replacement and reballing.
• Set up and conduct thermal profiling for rework activities.
• Prepare PCB pads and inspect boards before and after rework.
• Perform basic electrical checks and support board troubleshooting.
• Maintain rework records and follow ESD and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in rework, soldering, desoldering
• Hands-on expertise in CPU/BGA rework and thermal profiling.
• Proficiency with BGA rework stations, soldering tools and microscopes.
• Ability to work independently and follow engineering instructions.
• Willing to work in Kulim, Kedah
