Job Description
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee financial reporting across Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Work with the respective country accountants, who retain responsibility for their local accounting operations and statutory requirements.
Establish consistent group accounting policies, reporting formats, closing procedures and internal control standards.
Review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss statements, cash flow reports and significant accounting adjustments.
Coordinate timely monthly closing and consolidated group reporting.
Ensure that intercompany transactions, balances and reconciliations are properly recorded and resolved.
Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, provisions, accruals and other key balance sheet items.
Maintain appropriate financial controls over purchasing, sales, payments, credit, inventory and expenditure.
Identify unusual transactions, discrepancies, control weaknesses and emerging financial risks, escalating material issues promptly.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks and other professional service providers when required.
