Job Description

Responsibilities

Company Description

Hitech Construction (1982) Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based general contractor with a strong track record in delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the island. Built on four decades of practical expertise, we work in close alignment with clients, design consultants, and site teams to ensure every project adheres strictly to local authority standards, buildability requirements, and safety protocols. We value proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and seamless collaboration from pre-construction through completion.

Role Description

The Architectural Assistant is a full-time, site-based role focused on supporting the day-to-day coordination, drafting, and technical management of architectural works. Working closely with the Senior Architectural Coordinator and Project Engineer, you will bridge the gap between design intent and on-site implementation.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented diploma or degree holder looking to deepen their practical knowledge of Singapore’s built environment, BIM workflows, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drawing & Model Coordination: Review, track, and update architectural contract drawings, shop drawings, and 3D BIM models to ensure alignment with structural and MEP disciplines.
  • On-Site Technical Support: Conduct regular site walks to check that executed architectural finishes, fixtures, and details match approved drawings and authority guidelines.
  • RFIs & Discrepancies: Assist in raising and managing Requests for Information (RFIs) to resolve clashes or site anomalies with consultants and subcontractors.
  • Submittals & Documentation: Compile, submit, and log architectural material samples, mock-up reports, catalog cut-sheets, and method statements for consultant review.
  • Meeting & Progress Records: Assist in preparing meeting minutes, coordination progress trackers, and spatial clash detection logs for weekly project meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Sustainable Built Environment, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (BIM coordination tools); familiarity with BIM e-submission workflows is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of Singapore building regulations (BCA, SCDF, URA) and local construction practices.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of local site/coordination experience are welcome to apply.
  • Soft Skills: Good interpersonal communication, a strong willingness to learn on-site, and high attention to visual and structural details.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
