Job Description
Responsibilities
- Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
- Skilled database and application development professional with at least 10 years of experience in IT and at least 8 years of hands-on experience in middleware webhosting and application server products in a large organization, preferably banking environment.
- Solid knowledge in administering Database products i.e. Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, CockroachDB, Cassandra, NeptuneDB etc.
- Experience in IT security compliance and implementation and use of security protocols (SSL, Server certificates etc.).
- Good experience using Python, Ansible, SQL and Shell/Perl Scripting.
- Experience with Unix system administration with understanding of underlying network and storage technologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands on experience in at least one public Cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Success attributes include initiative, the ability to perform under pressure, strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills as well as analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and can work autonomously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with internal customers and team members.
- Proficiency in working on Linux/Unix and Windows system.
- Managing support services and change management using ServiceNow.
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent.
