Key Responsibilities:

  • Change Management & Documentation: Develop comprehensive network change plans, maintain accurate network diagrams, update configurations, and ensure all procedures align with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) guidelines.
  • Testing & Validation: Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression tests to validate network changes according to the nature of the task.
  • Network Hygiene & Security Compliance: Support the team in maintaining high network security standards by fixing Vulnerability Assessments (VA) and Advanced Persistent Audits and Repairs (APARs), including OS patching and VA fixes for routers & switches.
  • Bank Grade Implementation: Execute network change implementation activities during defined Bank "green zone" times, strictly adhering to maker/checker procedures to ensure accuracy and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
  • Preferably some years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in a large enterprise WAN or data center environment.
  • Proficient in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and IPSec.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS XE, NX-OS, and Arista devices.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, ELK suites, or similar.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must be able to perform shift work and commit 1-year contract.
