Full Time QUALITY ASSURANCE (AUTOMATED TESTING) - 408 Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in Inter Island Group Selangor - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Core Java.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and sanity testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and validate REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Test interfaces and infrastructure workflows within AWS or other cloud environments.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and defect lifecycle management.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog discussions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to identify gaps and resolve defects.
• Perform database validation using SQL and MySQL.
• Support CI/CD testing activities using Jenkins and version control using Git.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of experience in software testing, with exposure to automation, API, and backend/cloud testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, and Core Java.
• Proficiency in Postman and REST API concepts.
• Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments.
• Good understanding of SQL/MySQL for data validation.
• Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins, Linux/Unix, and Windows environments.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and gap identification.
• Experience supporting UAT, defect management, and release validation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and analytical problem-solving skills.
