Marketing & Investor Relations Intern, AI Venture Fund (6 to 12 months)

About 1MX

1MX AI Fund I is a MAS-licensed venture fund based in Singapore that invests only in artificial intelligence, globally. We back companies from Pre-Seed to Series A across AI software, physical AI and robotics, and AI infrastructure. Portfolio companies include Moonshot AI, Apptronik, Neura Robotics, Tenstorrent, and Gecko Robotics among others.

The role

This is not a classic marketing internship. You will work directly with the Managing Partner on three things a fund lives on: how it raises capital, how it attracts the best founders, and how it helps its portfolio grow. You will see how a venture fund operates from the inside, across strategy, investor relations, brand and portfolio support.

What you will work on

→ Strategy: help shape how 1MX positions itself, against which investors and with which story

→ Portfolio support: help high-growth AI startups amplify their news, prepare founder spotlights, connect them with media, podcasts and events

→ Brand and content: run the LinkedIn calendar for the fund and the Managing Partner, covering AI market views, portfolio milestones and fund news

→ Design and web: own the ************* website and the visual consistency of fund materials, using AI tools for design and content

→ Events and ecosystem: represent 1MX at demo days and investor events in Singapore and globally, build target lists and run the follow-up

→ Investor relations and fundraising: research and profile family offices, funds of funds and institutional investors; prepare the deck, one-pager and quarterly LP letter.

Who we are looking for

→ Master’s student (MBA, MSc Management, Communications, Design or similar) able to commit through 2027

→ Excellent written English, and a sense of what makes investors and founders pay attention

→ Fluent with AI tools for writing, design and research (Claude, Canva, Figma, Webflow or similar)

→ Rigorous: investor materials must be accurate to the number

→ Discreet with confidential fund and investor information

→ Curious about venture capital and AI. You do not need to be technical, but you want to learn the space

→ A plus: startup, PR or design experience

Practical details

→ 6 to 12 months through 2027, immediate start (but flexible)

→ Hybrid in Singapore, flexible hours around your academic schedule
