Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Description

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented finance professional to support corporate finance projects, transaction assessments, and deal execution. You will work with project teams to review financial information, research businesses and markets, and prepare analysis that addresses the objectives of each engagement. Responsibilities will vary according to the assigned practice and transaction type.

For corporate finance responsibilities, you will assist with financial modelling, valuation, funding analysis, and the preparation of transaction materials. This may include developing forecasts, assessing financing options, reviewing comparable companies and transactions, and preparing presentations or information memoranda. You will document assumptions clearly and test how changes in key inputs affect the analysis.

For transaction advisory responsibilities, you will support financial due diligence by reviewing historical performance, earnings adjustments, working capital, cash flows, and debt-related items. You will reconcile information from different sources, investigate unusual movements, and prepare questions for relevant stakeholders. Your work will help identify findings that may affect transaction evaluation, negotiations, or further investigation.

For deals advisory responsibilities, you may contribute to acquisition assessments, disposal preparation, commercial analysis, or transaction coordination. Across these activities, you will maintain supporting schedules, organize data room requests, track outstanding information, and prepare clear summaries of findings. You will collaborate with relevant specialists and handle confidential transaction information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Relevant experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, financial due diligence, valuation, audit, or a related analytical role.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements and the relationships between profit, cash flow, and balance sheet movements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, data reconciliation, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Familiarity with valuation approaches such as discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
  • For due diligence responsibilities, an understanding of quality of earnings, normalized working capital, net debt, and related transaction considerations.
  • Ability to review large amounts of financial information, identify inconsistencies, and develop focused follow-up questions.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to assess business models, industry conditions, and competitive positioning.
  • Clear writing and presentation skills for preparing reports, transaction materials, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accurate supporting records.
  • Progress toward or completion of a relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA, is an advantage.
  • Professional integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach when working with sensitive information and multidisciplinary teams.
