Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Civil Construction Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities at project sites to ensure smooth operations and timely completion
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and quality
Review construction drawings, specifications, and method statements to verify accuracy and compliance
Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to facilitate project execution
Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, including Singapore’s construction regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards
Prepare detailed project schedules, progress reports, site records, and technical documentation to track and communicate project status
Identify site issues promptly and coordinate timely solutions to prevent project delays
Monitor project costs, variations, and material usage to control budget and resource allocation
Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures to maintain construction standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in METAL ROOFING works projects
Ability to read and interpret roofing drawings and technical specifications
Knowledge of roofing works, site coordination, and project management practices
Familiarity with project scheduling, progress reporting, and quality control procedures
Proficient communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities concurrently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
Experience in the Singapore construction industry is an advantage
