Sales& Business Coordination Executive (Japan Desk)
Job Description & Major Responsibilities
Japan Desk & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the primary liaison between Japan Headquarters, Japan Desk, and the Singapore Sales Team.
Coordinate and facilitate communication for business requirements, product information, and project updates between Japanese and local stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
Support communication involving customers, suppliers, and business partners from Japan.
Follow up on action items, project milestones, customer inquiries, and business requests from Japan.
Global Sales Coordination
Support and coordinate global sales activities with Japan Headquarters and regional sales teams.
Act as the primary point of contact between global sales stakeholders and internal departments.
Facilitate communication and information sharing across multiple countries and business units.
Follow up on sales opportunities, project updates, customer requests, and business initiatives across global markets.
Track action items and ensure timely completion of deliverables among stakeholders.
Support global customer engagement activities, meetings, and business development initiatives.
Sales Support & Administration
Assist the Sales Team in preparing quotations, proposals, RFQs, presentations and sales related documentation.
Coordinate sales enquiries, project updates, customer requests, and order status updates.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer communications, and project status updates.
Customer & Project Coordination
Support customer visits, meetings, and business discussions involving Japanese-speaking customers and visitors.
Coordinate project timelines and communication between Customers, Sales other departments.
Ensure critical customer requests and business issues are properly communicated and followed up.
Communication & Translation
Perform both Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese translations for business correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. To ensure accurate communication between headquarters, global sales teams, customers and internal stakeholder.
Facilitate meetings and discussions by providing interpretation support during meetings, customer visits, conference calls, and business discussions involving Japanese-speaking participants.
Assist in preparing bilingual presentations, sales materials, and management reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Post Sales &Inventory Management, Field Service Operations, and Accounting teams to ensure smooth business operations.
Support business development initiatives and marketing activities involving Japanese customers.
Desired Qualifications / Requirements / Competencies
:
Candidates should possess at least a Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Japanese Studies or other related
JLPT N1 or N2 preferred
Business proficiency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proactive and able to work with little direct supervision
Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
Experience in sales support, customer service or Japanese company environment will be an advantage
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or sales administration systems will be an advantage.
Team player with good communication skills, documentation and coordination skills
Proficient inMicrosoft Office programs
