Full Time Pipe-Plate Fitter (Teluk Intan) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,500 in Shobutra Perak - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities

• Perform pipe and steel plate fitting, assembly, installation, alignment, and adjustment for shipbuilding and ship repair works
• Carry out measuring, marking, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fit-up preparation of pipes, plates, and steel structures
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, piping layouts, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate fitting and installation
• Conduct pipe routing, flange alignment, and fitting of valves, pipe fittings, supports, and related components
• Carry out plate fitting and installation for ship structures, including bulkheads, decks, brackets, and stiffeners
• Assist in welding works and prepare joints for welding according to project requirements
• Apply logical and practical thinking to resolve fitting, alignment, and fabrication challenges based on site conditions
• Ensure workmanship meets project specifications, quality standards, and shipyard safety requirements
• Work closely with welders, engineers, and site supervisors to complete assigned tasks on schedule
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and comply with shipyard safety procedures

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience as a Pipe Fitter, Plate Fitter, or Fabricator
• Experience in pipe fitting, steel plate fitting, fabrication, or installation works is preferred
• Able to read and understand basic engineering, piping, and fabrication drawings
• Familiar with measuring, cutting, grinding, alignment, and fitting tools and equipment
• Basic welding knowledge is an advantage
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Willing to work in a shipyard environment and comply with site safety requirements
• Willing to be based in Teluk Intan, Perak
• Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or marine engineering projects is preferred

Added Advantages

• Experience in shipyard pipe installation, piping systems, or steel plate fabrication
• Ability to identify and resolve practical fitting, alignment, and installation challenges
• Familiarity with ship structural components, piping layouts, and fabrication drawings
• Welding skills or relevant trade certification
• Good awareness of workplace safety, quality control, and housekeeping practices

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
