Love camping, the outdoors, and meeting new people? Come spend a few weekends a month helping others discover the fun of camping.

Camp & Co. is looking for freelance camping instructors to lead and host our private camping trips for small groups of 3–4 participants. You don't need formal outdoor certifications — we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy camping, are comfortable outdoors, and can make a group of first-time or casual campers feel at ease.

What you'll do:

As the camping instructor, you'll be the friendly face guiding participants through their camping experience. Your responsibilities include:

• Meeting and ushering participants to the campsite
• Guiding them through campsite and tent setup
• Helping participants set up their cooking and food preparation area
• Demonstrating basic camping skills and outdoor practices
• Keeping participants engaged and making sure everyone is having a good time
• Being available throughout the overnight camping experience
• Helping ensure the campsite is properly packed up before leaving

What we're looking for:

You don't need any specific certifications or qualifications. We're more interested in your attitude, experience and comfort outdoors.

You should:

• Be genuinely passionate about camping and the outdoors
• Have some personal camping experience
• Be comfortable with the demands of an overnight camping trip (e.g. sleeping in a tent)
• Be reasonably proficient in English
• Have some experience interacting with customers, clients, guests or small groups
• Be friendly, responsible and comfortable taking initiative
• Be available for around 1–2 weekends per month maximum

Bonus - Outdoor cooking experience:

Instructors with stronger outdoor cooking skills may be eligible for a higher daily rate.

What we provide:

Camp & Co provides the equipment you'll need for the trips. You're also welcome to use your own gear if you prefer. Close friends and family can enjoy discounted rates when they join Camp & Co trips.

Personal Notes from Founder:

If you already spend your weekends thinking “Where can I go camping next?”, you'll enjoy this job. That said, you will need to be comfortable meeting new people and don't mind getting your hands dirty. You don't need to be an expert survivalist. We just want people who genuinely enjoy the outdoors and want to help others enjoy it too.
