Site Manager – Job Description & Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

2. Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

3. Safety Management: Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

4. Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and ensure construction works meet the required quality standards.

5. Resource Management: Manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.

6. Progress Reporting: Maintain site records, monitor progress, and submit regular reports to management.

7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable BCA requirements and relevant construction regulations.

8. Problem-Solving: Resolve site issues, minimise delays, and implement corrective actions.

9. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors.

10. Team Leadership: Supervise site personnel and promote teamwork, productivity, and safe work practices.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant construction industry experience.

• Good knowledge of construction methods, site management, and project coordination.

• Familiar with Singapore BCA requirements and WSH regulations.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to read construction drawings and manage site activities independently.
