People & Culture Manager

About the Job

Our Client is a technology company building scalable digital platforms and operational systems for global clients. They operate with a strong focus on product excellence, engineering quality, speed of execution, and operational clarity.

As they scale, Our Client is seeking a hands-on People & Culture Manager to build and operationalize their core people and culture infrastructure. This role will own performance management, manager development, and culture initiatives, ensuring people systems and company values scale effectively with the organization.

Remuneration: USD (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

1. Performance & Career

• Own the performance management framework, from performance cycles and feedback to promotion and career progression
• Build practical tools and processes that help managers set clear expectations and develop their teams

2. Manager Development

• Coach and upskill managers, especially first-time managers, on performance, feedback, people leadership, and difficult people situations
• Facilitate key people discussions and help managers make better people decisions

3. Culture & Engagement

• Turn company values into clear behaviors and embed them into performance and people practices
• Lead culture and engagement initiatives that help maintain a strong culture as the company scales

4. People & Organization

• Partner with leaders on people-related challenges and organizational decisions
• Advise on team structure and organizational design as the company grows
• Use people data and employee insights to identify trends and improve people initiatives

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in HR, with a proven track record of building and implementing performance and people/culture systems in high-growth environments
• Strong experience in performance management, including performance frameworks, feedback mechanisms, career progression, and promotion processes
• Proven ability to translate company values into practical people practices, behavioral competencies, and performance criteria
• Strong manager coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to upskill and support first-time managers
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence leaders on people-related decisions
• Demonstrated ability to take initiatives from design through end-to-end implementation, with a high level of ownership
• Strong understanding of talent development and career frameworks

Should Have

• Experience building or scaling people frameworks in a high-growth technology or product environment
• Experience supporting an organization through significant growth or organizational change
• Experience designing and implementing culture or employee engagement initiatives at scale
• Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to use people insights to identify trends and inform decisions

Nice to Have

• Experience managing direct reports
• Background in Organizational Design (OD)
• Experience working in an organization scaling from approximately 150 to 300+ employees
