Role Description The Global Business Unit CEO / Equity Partner (Founding Leadership) is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position is responsible for defining and executing the global business strategy, including investment planning, market entry, and growth initiatives across multiple regions. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing business unit operations, building and nurturing partnerships and shareholder relationships, and guiding high-impact investment decisions. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, setting performance standards, managing risk, and ensuring alignment with the company’s mission around education, employment, and sustainable growth. The CEO / Equity Partner will also drive fundraising, stakeholder communication, and governance, while cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and long-term value creation.
Qualifications
- Track record in executive leadership, P&L ownership, and scaling international businesses or business units.
- Experience in investment management, corporate finance, or venture building, including risk assessment and portfolio strategy.
- Background in economic development, education, or impact-focused enterprises is highly beneficial.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, business modeling, and performance management.
- Proven ability to build partnerships, manage shareholders, and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
- Ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, foster inclusive workplaces, and manage change in fast-paced environments.
- Comfort operating in a hybrid setting in Singapore, with global travel as needed.
- Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
