Full Time Assistant Manager, Finance Jobs, in MMC Corporation Berhad WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or Treasury functions.

Previous experience in a property development and/or construction company is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, MFRS, full set of accounts, and internal control frameworks.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and accounting software.

Good working knowledge of MFRS, Tax, and SST regulations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.

Willing to relocate to Senai, Johor.

Prepare management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and financial reports for Management, Group, and the Board.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the integrity of the company’s accounting system and financial data.

Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

Strengthen internal control systems and continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Assist in tax planning and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including corporate tax and indirect taxes.

Support the development, analysis, and interpretation of financial and accounting information to evaluate operating results, profitability, and overall financial performance against budgets.

Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, particularly in treasury and cash management functions.

Monitor cash flow positions, funding requirements, and financial covenants to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and project needs.

Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders on audit, tax, and statutory matters.

Support statutory reporting requirements and ensure timely submission in compliance with regulatory standards.

Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning.

Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
