Design Consultant (Interior Design)

Join an established interior design studio where good design, strong client relationships and professional growth come together.

Mr Shopper Studio is looking for Design Consultants who are passionate about creating well-designed homes and confident in working directly with homeowners.

You'll be involved from the initial client consultation through design development and project coordination, working closely with our Design Support and Project teams to deliver a smooth and professional renovation experience.

What You'll Do

• Attend to company-assigned leads and client enquiries
• Meet homeowners to understand their lifestyle, requirements, design preferences and budget
• Develop space planning, design concepts and creative solutions
• Prepare and present design proposals and quotations
• Present and pitch design ideas confidently to clients
• Follow up with potential clients and develop opportunities into confirmed projects
• Work closely with our Design Support and Project teams
• Coordinate design requirements throughout the project
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients
• Ensure a positive client experience from initial consultation through project completion

What We're Looking For

• Experience in interior design, renovation or a related field preferred
• Good design sense and space-planning ability
• Confident in communicating and presenting ideas to clients
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Proactive with good follow-up and a results-oriented mindset
• Good understanding of renovation processes, materials and costing
• Responsible and able to manage clients and projects independently
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp or other relevant design software is an advantage
• Relevant Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related discipline preferred
• Portfolio of previous design work will be an advantage
