ibis Styles Singapore on MacPherson is a stylish 298-room hotel located at the junction of Aljunied and MacPherson Road. It is Singapore’s first ibis Styles hotel, managed by Accor Hotels, featuring a mixed development with a mall and hotel.
Job Summary
You will prepare food orders accurately according to recipes, maintain hygiene standards, support kitchen operations, and collaborate with the culinary team to deliver quality service in a busy hotel environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare food orders following recipes and ensure correct portion sizes for consistent quality
Prepare raw cooking materials and other required products to meet menu standards
Complete thorough mis-en-place to support efficient kitchen operations
Store raw food materials according to established standards to maintain freshness and safety
Collaborate closely with the Leading Cook and Chef De Partie to coordinate kitchen tasks
Observe and enforce all hygiene standards during food preparation to ensure safety and compliance
Follow and uphold all hotel and departmental rules and regulations consistently
Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards to meet hospitality requirements
Provide functional assistance and guidance to support daily kitchen operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Demonstrate a positive attitude to foster a collaborative work environment
Work effectively as a strong team player to support kitchen and hotel operations
Organize tasks efficiently and learn new skills quickly to adapt to kitchen demands
Manage time effectively and deliver good customer service under pressure and high volume
Show passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for working in a hotel setting
Exhibit attention to detail and commitment to job responsibilities
Willingness to participate in internal training programs provided by Accor Hotels for skill development
