Investment Manager / Director (Data Centre Investments & M&A)

A digital infrastructure platform is seeking an investment professional to support its expansion across multiple markets. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of data centre investments, including greenfield acquisitions, joint ventures and M&A transactions, within a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and execute data centre investment opportunities across markets, including land acquisitions, joint ventures and M&A.
• Lead end-to-end transactions, from sourcing and screening through underwriting, structuring, negotiations and closing.
• Assess commercial and technical feasibility, including site suitability, power availability, infrastructure requirements and investment returns.
• Develop financial models, valuations and investment recommendations to support decision-making.
• Manage due diligence, transaction documentation and negotiations with counterparties and advisers.
• Prepare investment proposals and present recommendations to senior management and investment committees.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant investment experience, preferably within a global or investment-backed regional data centre operator.
• Strong end-to-end transaction execution experience, including acquisitions, joint ventures or greenfield investments.
• Solid understanding of data centre development economics, site selection and technical considerations.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, commercial assessment and negotiation skills.
• Regional market knowledge and experience working with investment committees and senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial, commercially minded and hands-on, with the ability to operate independently in a lean team.
• Relevant TMT investment banking experience with direct transaction execution exposure may also be considered.
