Full Time Commis 1 Jobs, Salary up to MYR 1,900 in THE GUEST HOTEL & SPA SDN. BHD. Negeri Sembilan - Maukerja

· To report to Executive Sous Chef or Sous Chef;

· To co-ordinate with F & B Department;

· Assist in preparing ingredients, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables, fruits, and meats.

· Assist chefs in cooking and plating dishes.

· Follow recipes and instructions precisely to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.

· Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is prepared correctly.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.

· Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards.

· Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, tools, and equipment.

· Dispose of waste properly and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

· Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.

· Rotate stock to ensure freshness (FIFO - First In, First Out).

· Report low stock levels or damaged items to supervisors.

· Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.

· Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment.

· Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and other commis, to ensure smooth operations.

· Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and meet service deadlines.

· Assist colleagues during busy periods or when additional support is needed.

· Learn and develop culinary skills, techniques, and knowledge from senior chefs.

· Gain experience in different sections of the kitchen (e.g., pastry, grill, cold section) to build versatility.

· Attend training sessions or workshops as required.

· Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and meet service deadlines.

· Assist colleagues during busy periods or when additional support is needed.

· Learn and develop culinary skills, techniques, and knowledge from senior chefs

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
