Responsibilities
Put reuse on the map — neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
Ecoworksbuilds reuse infrastructure. The way products are delivered to consumers isbroken — single-use by default, wasteful by design. We're changing the deliverymodel itself, not just the packaging. We're early. We're hiring people who wantto build this with us.
Key Responsibilities
Grassroots Programmes
– Design communityprogrammes — workshops, refill drives, estate and school activations — thatgrassroots organisations actually want to run.
– Pitch and package theseprogrammes to Residents' Committees, Community Clubs, town councils, schoolsand corporate partners, so they are funded or co-funded rather than given away.
– Track what eachprogramme costs and brings in. The goal is a community function that pays foritself, not a cost centre.
Content & Social
– Plan and produce contentfor Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook — real community content, not polishedbrand campaigns.
– Own the posting calendarand adapt to what performs.
Community Building
– Develop and run acommunity of active refill users.
– Recruit, train andmanage our Refill Ambassadors and volunteers: rostering, briefing, recognition,and keeping them engaged.
– Engage with residents,community groups, and grassroots organisations around station locations.
– Identify and work withmicro-influencers and community advocates.
Apprenticeships & Talent
– Explore apprenticeshipand work-study tie-ups with ITE, polytechnics, universities and communitypartners.
– Propose how Ecoworkscould host apprentices, and how these could feed both our station network andour programmes.
On-the-Ground Presence
– Attend stationactivations and community events.
– Capture content on-site;be comfortable on camera.
Ideal Candidate
– Content-native: lives onIG/TikTok/FB, understands what works organically.
– Has run or grown a realcommunity — not just managed a page.
– Has pitched somethingand got a yes — a programme, event, sponsorship or partnership.
– Has managed volunteersor a team of people who aren't paid to be there.
– Canva-proficient; basicvideo editing skills.
– Comfortable being theface of a brand in front of a camera and in person.
– Bonus: existing ties toheartland communities or grassroots networks.
