As our Intern (Northeast Asia), you will help deliver trade missions and China-focused seminars, promote the Singapore Pavilion at high-level forums in China, Japan and Korea, and organise business matching sessions with counterparts across the region, working alongside our international business team, industry partners and overseas counterparts. You will gain practical skills in event coordination, market research and marketing, and see first-hand how Singapore companies build business connections across North-East Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver trade missions to North-East Asia and China-focused seminars

• Coordinate communications between internal teams and external partners, such as vendors and participants.

Promote trade fairs and business missions

• Engage prospective exhibitors and follow through on their enquiries.
• Create content for media kits.
• Pitch ideas for strategic marketing campaigns, including social media posts.
• Contribute to media plans to promote the Singapore Pavilion at high-level forums in China, Japan and Korea.

Produce market reports and briefs

• Research and write market reports and briefs.
Organise business matching sessions between Singapore companies and counterparts in China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia and Taiwan.

Requirements

• Preferably pursuing studies in Business Administration (with focus on International Business or International Marketing), Strategic Marketing and Communications.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Well organised, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of five months starting from Jan 2027.
