Friday Social is looking for a Content Creation Intern to film and edit the short-form videos behind our weekly series in Singapore.

About Friday Social

Friday Social is a social experiment and incubation project that turns everyday Singapore moments into content people want to watch and join. Our series runs on three pillars:

• Phone Lock: groups eating out or queueing lock away their phones and spend real time together.
• Blind Box: people pick an activity from a box, a sponsor covers it, and they bring a friend to do it the following Friday.
• Double or Nothing: a $10 challenge to call someone, with the chance to double it to $20 or lose it all.

We publish five videos a week, so you will be filming and editing constantly.

What you’ll do

You will own the full path from shoot to published video.

• Film on location across Singapore: cafes, queues, malls and street shoots, mostly on a phone or compact camera.
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, including cuts, captions, sound and pacing.
• Help plan and pitch content ideas for each pillar, and spot trends we can ride.
• Interact with strangers on camera: approach, explain the challenge and get consent to film.
• Capture sponsor and partner moments in a way that feels natural, not scripted.
• Organise raw footage and keep our content library tidy.

Who we’re looking for

We want students currently studying marketing, film, media, communications or a related field, at diploma or degree level. Polytechnic students are very welcome to apply.

• Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree programme in a relevant area.
• Comfortable shooting and editing video with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut.
• A portfolio of any kind: school projects, personal TikToks or Reels all count.
• Confident talking to strangers and holding a camera in public.
• Curious about social media trends and what makes a video stop the scroll.
• Reliable, proactive and happy to work Fridays and some weekday shoots.

No prior work experience is needed. Strong ideas and a good eye matter more than a long CV.

• Hours: 40 hours a week, including Fridays
• Allowance: $800-$1000 per month
