Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Process supplier invoices, including fuel, tolls, vehicle maintenance, parts, and subcontractor bills
Prepare and issue customer invoices based on completed jobs, delivery records, and rate agreements
Match invoices against purchase orders, delivery orders, proof of delivery (POD), and trip logs
Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain accounts receivable aging reports
Prepare payment runs and maintain accounts payable records
Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and driver expense claims or trip advances
Assist with payroll data preparation, including driver hours, overtime, and allowances [if applicable]
Maintain accurate records in the accounting system and keep supporting documents properly filed
Support month-end closing and assist the finance team with audits and tax filings
Liaise with operations, dispatch, and customers to resolve billing queries and discrepancies
What We’re Looking For
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1 years of experience in an accounts or finance admin role (transport, logistics, or shipping experience is a strong plus)
Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic bookkeeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Organized, able to manage deadlines and high volumes of documents
Clear communication skills for working with drivers, operations staff, suppliers, and customers
