Full Time Trademark Lawyer (4 PQE-) | International Law Firm Jobs, in Taylor Root - Maukerja

An international law firm is seeking a mid-level to senior associate to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property & Technology team in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for an IP lawyer looking to deepen their trade mark expertise while working alongside leading practitioners on high-profile, cross-border matters for multinational clients. You will play a key role in advising clients on all aspects of trade mark prosecution, registration and portfolio management, managing both Singapore and international trade mark portfolios. You will have the opportunity to take direct ownership of client relationships and build a practice around this area.

Working closely with colleagues across Asia Pacific and a global network of offices, you will:

• Advise on trade mark protection, clearance, registration and prosecution matters.
• Manage large local and international trade mark portfolios.
• Liaise directly with clients, foreign associates and trade mark offices worldwide.
• Review and negotiation of commercial IP/Tech contracts
• Supervise junior lawyers and support team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Gain exposure to broader commercial IP matters, including branding, licensing and strategic IP advisory work.

Requirements:

• Singapore Qualified, 4 PQE+
• Experience advising on trade mark registration and prosecution matters.
• Strong technical, drafting and communication skills.
• Comfortable with working independently and building client relationships
• An interest in developing broader commercial IP expertise alongside your core trade mark practice.
