Job Summary

Support the Planning Manager by coordinating architectural design detailing, resolving site issues, and ensuring quality and compliance in construction projects using BIM and other tools.

Responsibilities

Coordinate architectural design detailing between clients and consultants to ensure alignment and project progress

Review, update, and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings to maintain accuracy and compliance

Resolve site architectural issues such as drawing discrepancies and method statements to uphold quality and productivity using BIM software or equivalent

Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors to prevent conflicts, disputes, and abortive work

Ensure architectural works comply with specifications and authority requirements without deviation

Schedule architectural works, manage material requisition, control costs, supervise projects, and maintain documentation aligned with the Master Programme

Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to support contract and procurement management

Prepare construction method statements and technical proposals to facilitate smooth work transitions

Inspect ongoing work, resolve issues, and monitor rectifications to maintain quality standards

Coordinate submission and status updates of architectural drawings, samples, mock-ups, and materials while supervising work progress

Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors and conduct routine inspections of installed works

Prepare and coordinate Quality Management (QM) and CONQUAS assessments to ensure compliance

Compile and hand over architectural documentation including as-built drawing submissions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Relevant Degree or Diploma in Architecture or equivalent

Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM experience on PPVC or PBU projects

Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies

Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities such as BCA

Good team collaboration skills

Completion of QM project and registration as Core-trade Foreman/Supervisor is an added advantage
