About the Job

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a proactive and dedicated Flange Management Supervisor for supervising and coordinating flange management and joint integrity activities at project sites.


Job Requirements – Flange Management Supervisor

Education & Certification

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Piping or a related discipline.
  • ECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity (MJI), Hydraulic Torque/Tensioning (HT), or equivalent recognised competency certification.
  • Relevant training in flange management, bolting operations and joint integrity.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in flange management, mechanical joint integrity or industrial bolting operations.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading flange management or bolting teams.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery or major industrial construction projects.
  • Proven experience in high-pressure piping systems and critical flange connections.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of flange assembly, disassembly, alignment, gasket installation and bolt tightening procedures.
  • Hands-on experience operating hydraulic torque wrenches, bolt tensioners and related equipment.
  • Ability to interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, flange specifications and bolt tightening procedures.
  • Knowledge of torque values, bolt tensioning sequences, joint integrity and leak prevention.
  • Familiarity with ASME PCC-1 and relevant industry standards.
  • Ability to identify flange defects, joint integrity issues and corrective actions.

Supervisory & Safety Requirements

  • Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate daily flange management activities.
  • Familiarity with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and HSE requirements.
  • Experience maintaining flange management records, inspection checklists and joint completion reports.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and site coordination skills.
