Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya for a Procurement Manager Non Food at Nando’s Malaysia. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for non-food categories such as packaging, restaurant equipment, furniture, uniforms, and services. Day-to-day tasks include developing sourcing strategies, running tenders and supplier evaluations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely supply to support restaurant operations. The Procurement Manager will monitor supplier performance, manage vendor relationships, optimize inventory levels, and ensure compliance with company standards, sustainability practices, and budget requirements. Collaboration with operations, finance, marketing, and other departments is essential to align procurement decisions with business objectives and brand values.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement and sourcing skills, including experience in supplier selection, tender management, and contract negotiation for non-food categories.
• Competence in vendor management and relationship building, with the ability to assess supplier performance, manage service levels, and develop long-term partnerships.
• Solid analytical and financial skills, including cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting to support data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Operational and project management skills to coordinate multiple procurement initiatives, meet deadlines, and support restaurant openings or refurbishments.
• Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and sustainability practices in procurement, particularly within retail or hospitality environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and present recommendations clearly.
• Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in F&B, hospitality, retail, or a related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya and occasionally visit restaurants, warehouses, and suppliers as required.
