Enjoy working with data and exploring research questions?

I’m looking for a Research Assistant to join my research project at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) for a 24-month appointment.

You’ll contribute to the research process from collecting and organising data to supporting analysis, interpreting findings and preparing reports. The role also involves project administration, coordination, research meetings and fieldwork.

I welcome applications from candidates with a master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field, a minimum CGPA of 3.00, advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience handling large datasets.

Beyond these qualifications, I’m looking for someone who enjoys working with data, is willing to participate in research meetings and fieldwork, and can work both independently and as part of a team. Prior research experience is preferred.

Appointment: 24 months

Remuneration: RM 3,000 per month
