Role Description:

This is a part time/ contract/ internship position, on-site Mathematics Teacher role based in Rawang. The Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, ensuring that learners develop a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching resources, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student performance through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of student progress, communicating with parents or guardians as needed, and participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities. The Mathematics Teacher will collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies, support diverse learning needs, and contribute positively to the overall learning environment.

Qualifications:

1. Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and/ or Mathematics Core and/ or Mathematics EXtended, with the ability to teach a range of topics clearly and accurately.

2. Ability to design effective instruction through Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development that aligns with educational standards.

3. Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching credentials, training, or certification in mathematics or education.

3. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a related field.

4. Experience teaching mathematics in a classroom setting, preferably at primary or secondary level.

5. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to support students with varying learning styles and abilities.

6. Effective communication skills, including clear instructional language and professional interaction with students, families, and colleagues.

7. Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and a supportive learning environment.

8. Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and to adopt innovative, student-centered teaching methods.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM1,600.00 per month
