About This Opportunity

Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and turning conversations into real opportunities? CEREBRUM by JCorp is seeking a proactive and relationship-oriented Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Activation professional to help grow and strengthen our ecosystem across government, industry, academia, startups, investors, and strategic partners.

In this role, you will build and maintain key stakeholder relationships, represent CEREBRUM in engagements, support partnership development, and ensure opportunities continue moving forward. You will also maintain ecosystem intelligence and stakeholder records to ensure continuity and informed decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with ecosystem stakeholders.
• Represent CEREBRUM in meetings, forums, workshops, networking engagements, and partnership discussions.
• Support the development of collaborations, partnerships, pilots, and strategic opportunities.
• Follow up on meetings and engagements to maintain momentum and accountability.
• Coordinate with internal teams to progress opportunities and commitments.
• Prepare stakeholder briefs, meeting notes, and engagement summaries.
• Maintain stakeholder databases, relationship histories, opportunity trackers, and ecosystem intelligence.
• Produce concise weekly updates highlighting opportunities, risks, stakeholder developments, and recommended actions.
• Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with CEREBRUM's strategic priorities.
• Ensure stakeholders receive consistent, professional, and well-coordinated engagement experiences.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, business development, external relations, ecosystem building, or a related area is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, business development, external relations, ecosystem building, or similar roles.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong ownership, initiative, and follow-through.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Ability to prepare concise reports, stakeholder updates, and engagement briefs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience engaging government agencies, GLCs, universities, investors, or industry partners.
• Familiarity with Johor's innovation, economic development, or public-sector ecosystem is a plus.
• Experience using CRM, relationship management, project tracking, or knowledge management platforms.
• Existing stakeholder network across relevant sectors is an advantage.

Flexible – preferably Johor Bahru, with Kuala Lumpur also considered. Travel may be required for engagements.
