Responsibilities
An SAP Basis Consultant ensures that SAP environments (ERP, S/4HANA, BW, etc.) run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. They act as the backbone of SAP system administration, supporting both technical and functional teams.

- System Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and landscapes.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and perform system copies.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
- Security & Compliance
- Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data integrity.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Troubleshooting & Support
- Diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Provide technical support to SAP functional consultants and end-users.
- Collaborate with IT teams for integration with other enterprise systems
